Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 19, 2026
Last updated: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MFTV (“MFTV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visitgetmftv.com, join the MFTV waitlist, contact us, or use MFTV products and services.

MFTV is operated from India. The MFTV desktop application is currently under development and has not yet been publicly released. Some features described below, including purchases, software licensing, analytics, and in-app updates, are planned but may not yet be active.

For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us atsupport@getmftv.com.

1. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with MFTV.

Website and technical information

When you visit getmftv.com, Cloudflare may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver, protect, and operate the website.

This information may include:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Requested pages and URLs
  • Date and time of requests
  • Referring website or page
  • Network information
  • Security and diagnostic information
  • Information associated with suspected spam, abuse, bots, or malicious activity

This information may appear in Cloudflare’s operational, security, or diagnostic logs.

We do not directly add this technical information to your MFTV waitlist record.

Waitlist information

When you join the MFTV waitlist, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Your selected reward preference
  • The date and time of your submission

The available reward selections may include a discount or an additional licence key.

Your waitlist information is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database connected to the MFTV website.

The waitlist database contains:

  • A database record identifier
  • Your email address
  • Your selected reward
  • An ISO-formatted submission timestamp

Your IP address is not stored as a field in the MFTV waitlist database. However, Cloudflare may separately process your IP address and request information as part of its website delivery and security services.

If you submit the same email address again, we may update your existing reward selection instead of creating a duplicate entry.

Communications and support

When you contact us at support@getmftv.com, we may collect:

  • Your email address
  • Your name, if you provide it
  • The contents of your message
  • Attachments you choose to send
  • Screenshots or diagnostic logs you choose to provide
  • Information about your device or MFTV installation
  • Purchase or licence information relevant to your request

Please avoid sending passwords, complete payment-card information, or unrelated sensitive personal information in a support message.

2. How we use information

We may use the information described in this policy to:

  • Operate and deliver the MFTV website
  • Protect the website against spam, bots, abuse, fraud, and security threats
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the website
  • Manage the MFTV waitlist
  • Prevent duplicate or abusive waitlist submissions
  • Contact waitlist members when MFTV launches
  • Provide the early-bird reward selected by a waitlist member
  • Recognise eligible early supporters within MFTV
  • Send important announcements about significant upcoming MFTV features
  • Respond to questions and support requests
  • Diagnose technical problems
  • Improve MFTV and its website
  • Issue and validate software licences once licensing is active
  • Process purchases once purchasing is available
  • Deliver software updates once the update system is active
  • Maintain appropriate transaction, security, support, and business records
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

We do not use waitlist information for third-party behavioural advertising.

3. Waitlist emails and announcements

By joining the waitlist, you ask us to contact you about the MFTV launch and your selected early-bird reward.

We may also send occasional announcements concerning important upcoming MFTV features, major product changes, or information directly relevant to waitlist members and early supporters.

We do not intend to send frequent unrelated promotional emails.

You may ask us to stop sending these communications or delete your waitlist entry by contactingsupport@getmftv.com.

Where an unsubscribe option is included in an email, you may also use that option.

Even after you unsubscribe from promotional announcements, we may still send necessary service-related messages if you later purchase or use MFTV. These may include purchase confirmations, licence information, important security notices, and responses to support requests.

4. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

We do not currently use a separate advertising network, behavioural advertising pixel, or third-party marketing tracker on getmftv.com.

We do not currently use Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies where necessary to deliver, secure, and protect the website or to provide Cloudflare features enabled for the site.

We may introduce privacy-focused website analytics in the future. Before doing so, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or consent mechanism required by applicable law.

5. Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare to host, deliver, secure, and operate the MFTV website.

We also use Cloudflare D1 to store MFTV waitlist records. Cloudflare D1 is a managed database service that uses SQLite-compatible technology.

Cloudflare may process website traffic, network information, IP addresses, security events, diagnostic information, and stored waitlist data when providing its services to us.

Cloudflare may process information using infrastructure located outside your country. Cloudflare handles information according to its own privacy terms and its agreements with its customers.

6. Local processing by the MFTV application

MFTV is being designed to organise and process your personal media library locally on your computer.

Based on the current planned design, MFTV will not automatically upload the contents of your media files, your viewing history, your locally created schedules, or your complete media library to us.

The application may locally access information such as:

  • Media file names
  • Folder paths
  • Media metadata
  • Locally created schedules
  • Application settings
  • Local viewing or playback state
  • Locally generated diagnostic information

This information may be required for the application to function, but it is intended to remain on your device unless a feature clearly informs you otherwise or you deliberately send information to us.

Because MFTV is still being developed, we will review and update this section before the public release if the final application handles information differently.

7. Application logs and diagnostics

MFTV may create operational or diagnostic logs locally on your computer.

These logs are not currently designed to be uploaded to us automatically.

When requesting support, you may choose to send us a log file, screenshot, or other diagnostic information. Such material may contain technical information about your computer, application configuration, file paths, or errors.

You should review diagnostic files before sending them and remove any information you do not want to share.

If automatic crash reporting, telemetry, or remote diagnostics are introduced in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when those features become active. Where appropriate, we will also provide controls within the application.

8. Purchases through Dodo Payments

MFTV plans to use Dodo Payments as its Merchant of Record when purchases become available.

As Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments will act as the legal seller for transactions processed through its checkout and will be responsible for matters such as payment processing, applicable tax collection, fraud checks, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks.

Dodo Payments may collect information such as:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your billing address
  • Your country or region
  • Payment-method information
  • Tax-related information
  • The product purchased
  • Transaction identifiers
  • Payment status
  • Refund and dispute information
  • Fraud-prevention and compliance information

Payment credentials, such as your complete payment-card number, will be processed by Dodo Payments and its payment partners. MFTV does not intend to receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

Dodo Payments may provide MFTV with information required to fulfil and support a purchase, such as:

  • Customer email address
  • Customer name, where supplied
  • Product purchased
  • Order or transaction identifier
  • Payment status
  • Refund status
  • Country or region
  • Licence entitlement
  • Other information reasonably required to fulfil or support the order

Dodo Payments processes buyer information under its own privacy policy and buyer terms.

This section becomes applicable when MFTV purchases are enabled.

9. Software licensing through Keygen

MFTV plans to use Keygen to issue, activate, manage, and validate software licences.

The final licensing implementation is still under development. Depending on its final configuration, licence activation or validation may process:

  • A licence key or licence identifier
  • Licence status and entitlement information
  • Activation and validation timestamps
  • Application version
  • Operating-system or platform information
  • Your IP address
  • A device name or hostname
  • A machine identifier or device fingerprint

A machine identifier may be used to enforce the permitted number of activated devices and to help prevent unauthorised licence sharing.

Where reasonably possible, MFTV intends to minimise the device information used for licence validation and hash a machine fingerprint before it is transmitted rather than sending unnecessary raw hardware identifiers.

A hashed device identifier may still be treated as personal information because it can distinguish one installation or device from another.

We will update this section before public release once the exact licence-validation information and activation process have been finalised.

Keygen processes licensing information under its own privacy policy and its agreement with MFTV.

10. Software updates

MFTV plans to include an in-app software update system.

The final update system has not yet been implemented. When active, the application may contact an update service and provide limited technical information such as:

  • Your installed MFTV version
  • Your operating system or platform
  • Your update channel or edition
  • The date and time of the update request
  • Your IP address, which is normally visible to the server receiving the request
  • Licence eligibility information, where necessary

We will update this section once the update system, hosting provider, and information transmitted during update checks have been finalised.

11. Legal grounds for processing

Where applicable law requires us to identify a legal ground for processing personal information, we may rely on:

Consent

We may rely on your consent when you voluntarily join the waitlist, agree to receive optional communications, or enable an optional feature.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

Performance of a contract

Once MFTV is available for purchase, we may process information where necessary to:

  • Process and fulfil your order
  • Provide your selected product
  • Issue and validate your licence
  • Deliver updates
  • Respond to product-related support requests

Legitimate interests

We may process limited information where reasonably necessary for legitimate interests such as:

  • Operating and securing our website
  • Preventing fraud, spam, abuse, and unauthorised licence use
  • Diagnosing technical problems
  • Managing the waitlist
  • Improving our services
  • Protecting our legal rights

We consider whether these interests are outweighed by the rights and interests of the affected person.

Legal obligations

We may process or retain information where required to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, regulatory, or other legal obligations.

12. When we share information

We may share or permit access to personal information only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Relevant service providers may include:

  • Cloudflare, for website hosting, delivery, security, and D1 database storage
  • Dodo Payments, once purchases are active
  • Keygen, once software licensing is active
  • Our email hosting provider, for support and business communications
  • Infrastructure providers used to host or distribute software updates
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants or legal advisers, where necessary

We may also disclose information:

  • When required by applicable law
  • In response to a valid legal process or government request
  • To investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • To protect the rights, safety, and property of MFTV, our users, or others
  • To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of the MFTV business

Service providers may only process information for their own independent purposes where permitted under their respective terms and applicable law.

13. Sale of personal information and advertising

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information with data brokers.

We do not share waitlist information for cross-context behavioural advertising or third-party targeted advertising.

If these practices ever change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required under applicable law before applying the change.

14. International data processing

MFTV is operated from India.

Cloudflare and other current or planned service providers may operate internationally. As a result, personal information may be processed or stored in India, the United States, or other countries in which a service provider maintains infrastructure or personnel.

The privacy and data-protection laws of those countries may differ from the laws where you live.

Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

15. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Waitlist records

We may retain your email address, reward selection, and signup timestamp for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Manage the waitlist
  • Contact you about the MFTV launch
  • Provide your selected early-bird reward
  • Maintain early-supporter recognition within MFTV
  • Send important product and feature announcements
  • Resolve disputes concerning waitlist eligibility or rewards
  • Maintain appropriate business records

Because early-supporter recognition may continue after launch, a waitlist record may be retained after MFTV becomes publicly available.

You may request deletion at any time by emailingsupport@getmftv.com. Deleting your waitlist record may affect our ability to verify or provide an unclaimed waitlist reward or early-supporter recognition.

Website and security records

Website and security information is retained according to Cloudflare’s applicable configuration, service terms, and retention practices.

We may retain relevant security information for longer when necessary to investigate abuse, fraud, or a security incident.

Support communications

We may retain support messages and voluntarily supplied attachments for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain support history, improve the product, resolve disputes, and protect our legal rights.

Purchase records

Once purchases become available, transaction and accounting records may be retained for the periods required by applicable tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and financial laws.

Licence records

Once licensing becomes active, licence and activation records may be retained for the duration of the licence and for a reasonable period afterward for support, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping.

We may retain limited information after a deletion request where retention is required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

16. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

Waitlist records are stored through Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare states that D1 data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

However, no website, database, internet transmission, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your email account, licence key, computer, and other account or device information secure.

17. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have the right to:

  • Ask whether we process your personal information
  • Request access to your personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Withdraw consent
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a portable copy of certain information
  • Opt out of optional promotional communications
  • Complain to an appropriate privacy or data-protection authority
  • Appeal certain decisions concerning a privacy request, where applicable

To exercise a privacy right, email support@getmftv.com.

Please describe your request clearly and provide the email address associated with your waitlist entry, purchase, licence, or support communication.

We may request reasonable information to verify that you are the person associated with the relevant record.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Some rights may be subject to legal exceptions.

18. Deleting a waitlist entry

You may request deletion of your waitlist entry by emailingsupport@getmftv.com from the email address used to join the waitlist.

After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymise the waitlist record unless we are required or permitted to retain it for a legitimate legal reason.

Deletion may result in the loss of:

  • Your selected early-bird reward
  • Your position or eligibility on the waitlist
  • Early-supporter recognition within MFTV
  • Our ability to verify your previous waitlist participation

19. Children’s privacy

The MFTV website and software are not directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where local law establishes a higher minimum age for consent to online data processing, that higher age may apply.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contactsupport@getmftv.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

20. Third-party websites and services

The MFTV website or application may contain links to third-party websites or services.

Third parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms. This Privacy Policy does not control the practices of websites and services that MFTV does not operate.

You should review a third party’s privacy information before providing information to it.

21. Automated decision-making

We do not currently use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects through fully automated processing.

Cloudflare or future payment providers may use automated systems to detect spam, fraud, abuse, bots, or security threats under their own services and policies.

22. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as MFTV is developed, released, or changed.

We expect to update it when:

  • MFTV becomes available for purchase
  • Dodo Payments is activated
  • Keygen licensing is activated
  • The in-app update system is activated
  • Analytics or telemetry is introduced
  • New service providers receive personal information
  • Our retention practices change
  • Applicable legal requirements change

When we update the policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how personal information is used.
